What's New with Episode Atlas
If you are a Star Trek fan who has ever lost track of which episodes you have seen, wanted a quick recommendation for what to watch next, or just needed somewhere to keep your all-time favourites list, Episode Atlas has been quietly growing into the place for exactly that. Here is a look at what is new.
Browse Episodes by Theme
The new Themes section lets you explore Star Trek episodes grouped by topic or story arc - things like time travel, the Holodeck, borg episodes, with more coming soon. Each theme page lists the relevant episodes so you can find exactly the kind of story you are in the mood for. Themes are a great way to discover episodes you may have missed or to put together a themed watch party.
Browse Episodes Without Losing Your Place
The episode list now loads as you scroll, so you can browse at your own pace without waiting for hundreds of episodes to load all at once. Filter by series, search by title, or sort however you like — the list stays smooth and fast throughout.
Random Episode
Not sure what to watch? The Random Episode page picks a Star Trek episode at random and shows you the full details. It is perfect for those evenings when you want Trek but cannot decide which series or season to revisit. Hit the button again and you will get a different suggestion.
Top 5 Lists
Signed-in users can now create and manage Top 5 lists - personal rankings of their favourite episodes. You can create multiple named lists, rearrange entries, and revisit them at any time. It is a great way to keep track of the episodes you return to most and to compare favourites with other Trek fans.
What Is Next
There is more to come. Further improvements to stats, Top 5 lists, and episode discovery are already in the works. If you have ideas for features you would love to see — a wish list of themed watch nights, deeper series stats, sharing your Top 5 with friends — use the feedback widget in the app to let us know.
In the meantime, browse the full episode list and start tracking your journey through the Star Trek universe. Live long and prosper. 🖖
